What Makes This Role Great: 

In this role, you will be the face of Corporate IS, directly empowering our engineers and business teams to stay productive by resolving frontline technical issues, deploying cutting-edge hardware, and collaborating with global IT partners to optimize modern enterprise workplace technology.

Key Exciting Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-touch technical support for walk-up requests and enterprise ticketing queues, managing issues smoothly through to resolution.
• Configure, deploy, and support modern workstations and peripherals across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity challenges to keep end-users productive.
• Drive asset management operations, assisting with IT equipment lifecycle tracking, staging, and responsible hardware recycling.
• Partner with global IS colleagues on technical projects and explore scripting tools to automate routine workplace workflows.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of mainstream operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, alongside core networking principles.
• Strong practical problem-solving ability with hardware components, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Collaborative communication skills with a customer-centric mindset and enthusiasm for working with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with enterprise IT service management (ITSM) ticketing platforms.
• Exposure to automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Prior experience in customer support, campus IT help desks, or computer lab environments.

Compensation:  Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.
