Operations Business Analyst

About the role

Jabil is seeking an Operations Business Analyst to work onsite in our corporate headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL.
This position is not eligible for immigration and/or visa sponsorship. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship by Jabil. Applicants requiring sponsorship will not be considered.

How will you make an impact?

As an Operations Business Analyst with Jabil, you will partner with Materials Operations to solve business problems with data and technology. You will also build reports, datasets, dashboards, automated workflows, and low-code applications that improve how the team works.

What will you do?

• Work with operations stakeholders to understand business problems, gather requirements, and turn them into practical solutions.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models (e.g., Power BI) that give the team visibility into materials performance.
• Develop automated workflows and low-code applications (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) that remove manual work and reduce errors.
• Collect, clean, and join data from ERP and other systems to create reliable datasets.
• Use generative AI tools to speed up development, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Test, document, and support solutions after launch, and trains users on them.
• Identifies opportunities for improvement and brings forward ideas, not just completed requests.
• Learn new tools and business areas quickly. Works with moderate guidance, growing toward independent ownership of projects.

How will you get here?

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems/MIS, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Data Science, or a similar related field required.
• No experience is required, however co-ops, academic or personal projects are helpful.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: the ability to break down an ambiguous problem, find the root cause, and work toward a solution.
• Curiosity and a builder mindset, shown through projects, internships, or coursework.
• Clear communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with at least one data or low-code tool (Power Platform, SQL, Excel, Python, Tableau, etc.). Willingness to learn the rest.
• Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, or similar low-code tools
• Excel at an advanced level, and SQL
• Some scripting or basic programming knowledge (Python is a plus)
• Any manufacturing, supply chain, or operations internship
• Comfort using AI tools to build and troubleshoot
