The Role

As a Senior Business Analyst on the Data Product Delivery Team, you will play a significant role in driving central initiatives. You will act as the main contact between business collaborators, customers, and Agile product delivery teams. You will lead business analysis efforts for complex, high-impact initiatives, ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, translated into actionable requirements, and successfully delivered. You will work closely with Data Product Area Leaders, fellow Business Analysts, and Technology partners to deliver innovative data solutions that support enterprise-wide business objectives. The Expertise & Skills You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related subject area
• 3 to 5+ years of relevant business analysis experience; financial services experience preferred
• Strong proficiency with data analysis tools and technologies, including SQL, Excel, Access, and relational databases.
• Ability to source, interpret, analyze, and translate data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, test cases, and documentation
• Experience with business analysis methodologies, improvement in execution, testing, and solution delivery
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a strong inclination to explore and learn
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and engage collaborators at all levels
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments while demonstrating adaptability and sound judgment
• A creative approach that questions existing processes and finds opportunities for improvement
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills

The Team

The Data Product Delivery Team works in partnership with the Data Product Area Product Leaders, other Business Analysts and our Technology counterparts.  By demonstrating and promoting Fidelity and Agile leadership behaviors, the team sustains and evolves our innovative Agile culture and is committed to solving complex business challenges while investing in the growth, development, and success of our people.

We have opportunities in two areas: :

• The Master Data Management (MDM) team supports the core reference data needs for Asset Management Advisors and the Back Office. We are responsible for turning Business Partner requests into actional solutions by analyzing current state and considering various operational and technical options. We support requests for Security, Portfolio, and Legal Entity reference data that is used by Trading, Accounting, Fund Administration, FI and WI.

• The Augmented Data Solutions (ADS) team is responsible for all internal holdings data as well as external vendor holdings and index data. We produce and support customized solutions for Asset Management and other Business Partners that leverage this data.

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.
