About the role

Senior Product Manager, Domains Monetization

Squarespace has defined the future of web design and helped entrepreneurs make their ideas and passions an online reality for over two decades. As one of the world's largest domain providers, millions of customers trust Squarespace with a vital part of their online brand identity: their web domain.

As the Senior Product Manager for Domains Monetization, you will own the product roadmap and capabilities that enable Domains to capture commercial opportunities and grow revenue. Working closely with the Commercial team, you will translate commercial strategies and business objectives into product solutions across Premium domains, aftermarket sales and auctions, and domain expiry. You'll also proactively identify opportunities to improve monetization, customer value, and the performance of our products.

You will report into the Domains Product organization and have the option of working from our NYC headquarters or remotely within the U.S.

You'll Get To

  • Own the monetization product roadmap across Premium domains, aftermarket sales and auctions, and domain expiry, translating commercial priorities into product capabilities and experiences that drive business results.
  • Partner with Commercial to deliver revenue opportunities. Work together to translate pricing, packaging, promotions, and other commercial programs into product requirements, capabilities, and experiments.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities. Use customer insights, data, and an understanding of the Domains business to surface monetization opportunities, connect ideas across product areas, and recommend solutions.
  • Lead product development end to end. Work with Design and Engineering to define problems, evaluate tradeoffs, prioritize investments, and deliver scalable solutions.
  • Measure and optimize outcomes. Define success metrics with Commercial, Engineering, and Design; build the instrumentation needed to measure impact; and use results to inform future product decisions.

Who We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of product management experience or equivalent, with a track record of owning and delivering successful products.
  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of revenue drivers, unit economics, conversion, LTV, and retention, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Experience with pricing, experimentation, marketplace dynamics, or other commercial product problems; curiosity about how product decisions drive business outcomes.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous business objectives into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and execution plans, while proactively identifying opportunities beyond the initial request.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Commercial, Growth, Design, and Engineering.
