About the role
The Company
Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.
We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.
Meet the team:
Join Dexcom’s Provider Solutions Team – Building the Software That Powers Better Care
Our Provider Solutions team builds the software that helps healthcare professionals interpret continuous glucose data, make confident treatment decisions, and manage patient populations at scale - in the tools and workflows they already use every day, across different channels and care settings.
Continuous glucose monitoring is expanding well beyond its origins in intensive insulin therapy, into primary care, broader Type 2 populations, and new models of technology-enabled care. That shift changes what providers need from us. Specialists want depth and precision. Primary care physicians, now a rapidly growing source of new prescriptions, need clarity and speed inside their existing systems. Health systems need interoperability, security, and evidence of outcomes.
Meeting all of that means building a modern, modular provider platform: clinical software that is reliable and trusted today, and services that can be delivered wherever care happens tomorrow. It means deep integration with electronic health record systems, thoughtful clinical decision support, therapy optimization tools, and population health capabilities that hold up in real clinical practice.
This is a role with genuine scope. You will own the strategy, the roadmap, and the execution for Dexcom’s provider-facing software portfolio, and you will lead and grow the product team that delivers it. If you want to shape how a category-defining technology shows up in the clinic, we’d love to meet you.
Where you come in:
- You own Dexcom’s Provider software strategy end to end, from long-range vision through roadmap, execution, and measurable results.
- You lead the full provider portfolio, spanning our web-based provider experience, platform and services, care management solutions and interoperability strategy.
- You define what success looks like in outcome terms; provider adoption, prescriber growth, workflow efficiency, and results, and you hold the portfolio accountable to it.
- You balance protecting and improving the software providers rely on today with building the next generation of the platform, and you make the sequencing and investment trade-offs that balance requires.
- You work with strategy, business development and R&D teams to define the build, buy, and partner strategy for the portfolio, investing internal effort where Dexcom is genuinely differentiated and moving faster elsewhere through partnership.
- You lead our interoperability strategy so Dexcom insights surface natively inside provider workflows and electronic health record systems, at scale and across markets.
- You build, coach, and grow a multi-layered product organization, structured so every leader owns a clear outcome or explicit part of the experience, rather than splitting attention across unrelated efforts.
- You own the resourcing model for the portfolio and make clear, evidence-based cases for where investment should go.
- You embed modern product practice - continuous discovery, empowered cross-functional teams, and decisions grounded in customer evidence rather than opinion.
- You represent Provider Solutions in executive forums, bringing sharp recommendations and honest trade-offs rather than status updates.
- You partner closely across R&D and Engineering, Design, Medical Affairs, Quality and Regulatory, Commercial, Market Access, and international teams to deliver solutions that work in real clinical settings.
- You stay close to the customer, spending real time with clinicians, care teams, and health system stakeholders, and you translate what you hear into product direction.
What makes you successful:
- You have led provider-facing or clinical software at scale, and you understand what it takes to earn and keep the trust of health systems, specialists, primary care clinicians and channel partners.
- You know the healthcare technology landscape in depth, including EHR ecosystems, modern interoperability standards, integration models, identity and access, and the practical realities of deploying inside a health system.
- You understand how reimbursement, coverage, and quality measurement shape clinical software, and you design with those realities in mind.
- You are a strong platform thinker. You can tell the difference between a service that scales across surfaces and a feature bolted onto a portal, and you build for the former.
- You are decisive under ambiguity. You make clear calls on sequencing and investment, and you can explain the reasoning to an executive audience simply and credibly.
- You build and develop teams. You attract strong product talent, give people real ownership, and coach rather than direct.
- You are evidence-led. You ground decisions in customer research, usage data, and market signal, and you change course when the evidence changes.
- You move at pace inside a regulated environment, balancing quality, safety, and design controls with the speed the market demands.
- You communicate with clarity and candor across clinicians, engineers, commercial leaders, and executives, adapting the message without diluting it.
- You thrive in a mission-driven environment and bring curiosity, empathy, and urgency to problems that affect how people manage their health every day.
What you’ll get:
- A front row seat to life changing CGM technology. Learn about our brave #dexcomwarriors community.
- A full and comprehensive benefits program.
- Growth opportunities on a global scale.
- Access to career development through in-house learning programs and/or qualified tuition reimbursement.
- An exciting and innovative, industry-leading organization committed to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.
Travel Required:
- 25 to 50%
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree with 17+ years of industry experience
