SUMMARY

Q2 is seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our Integration Framework and critical platform services. In this role, you will provide product oversight for our Golang-based Integration Framework, multi-channel notifications platform, voice banking services, and alert transformation initiatives—partnering closely with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional product lines to align investment with Q2’s broader platform strategy. You will gather and translate partner, customer, and internal stakeholder feedback into clear requirements, prioritize work to maximize impact, and architect a roadmap that strengthens platform infrastructure and enables product teams to build and scale services effectively. You will champion clear technical standards and vision—communicating direction broadly to internal teams and partners—while operating in a flexible, fast-paced environment where collaboration and strategic thinking are essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive roadmap and product strategy for the Integration Framework, multi-channel notifications, voice banking, and alert transformation services
  • Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture to understand technical trade-offs and influence platform design
  • Own the Integration Framework—managing the Golang API, service configuration tools, event-driven architecture, and database components
  • Steward the multi-channel notifications service and drive alert templating transformation into scalable microservices
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze root causes and optimize platform performance
  • Monitor and impact key metrics, efficiency, and platform reliability
  • Advocate for product and technical standards across engineering and product teams
  • Proactively identify opportunities for innovation, optimization, and platform improvements
  • Conduct research and provide technical expertise for product and business cases
  • Communicate value and vision effectively, establishing credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Work with engineering counterparts to ensure security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies are adhered to
  • Deliver clear product requirements and acceptance criteria for development teams

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of technical product management or software engineering experience; or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in technical product management, preferably with infrastructure or platform products
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience collaborating with engineering teams and understanding technical tradeoffs
  • Self-starter with ability to deliver results independently
  • Experience managing multiple products and initiatives
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture or microservices is a plus, but not required

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
