About the role

The most impactful digital products in the market today are the direct result of a seamless blend of business strategy, design and technology. Orchestrating this behind-the-scenes integration is a Product Manager, who prioritizes the customer experience from vision to execution and, together with their team, guides all workstreams toward a common vision and plan for delivery. Principal Product Managers are trusted advisors to senior stakeholders and are responsible for understanding their needs, driving commercial results and supporting them on their journey to providing more successful customer experiences.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead products that help home health, hospice, and other healthcare providers manage the revenue cycle. This role will connect the needs of billing and operations teams with engineering delivery, turning complex payer and workflow requirements into reliable, usable software.
The ideal candidate understands how decisions made during referral intake, eligibility verification, authorization, clinical documentation, and coding affect claims, reimbursement, and cash flow. They can work with technical teams on integrations and data quality while keeping the product focused on measurable customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

● Own the product vision, roadmap, and prioritized backlog for revenue cycle capabilities.
● Partner with providers, billing specialists, finance leaders, and operations teams to map workflows and identify delays, manual work, and sources of claim errors.
● Define requirements and acceptance criteria for capabilities such as eligibility verification, payer matching, authorization tracking, charge capture, claims management, denial resolution, payment posting, and reporting.
● Work with engineering and architecture teams on system integrations, data flows, automation, and modernization of existing applications.
● Break complex initiatives into deliverable increments, clarify dependencies, and make informed tradeoffs across value, effort, risk, and timing.
● Collaborate with design and research teams to make complex workflows clear and efficient for frontline users.
● Establish product measures, including clean claim rate, denial rate, days in accounts receivable, first-pass acceptance, reimbursement accuracy, and time spent on manual follow-up.
● Lead discovery, stakeholder reviews, demonstrations, and release planning. Use customer feedback and performance data to refine the roadmap.
● Coordinate with compliance and subject matter experts as payer requirements and healthcare policies change.

Required Qualifications

● 5+ years of product management experience, including significant experience with healthcare software or revenue cycle management.

● Working knowledge of the healthcare revenue cycle, from intake and eligibility through claims, payment, and denial resolution.
● Experience translating operational workflows into product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable outcomes.
● Ability to discuss APIs, integrations, data models, and system dependencies with technical teams.
● Strong stakeholder management skills across clinical, operational, financial, and engineering groups.
● Experience leading product discovery and delivery in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with home health, hospice, post-acute care, or other provider-based healthcare settings.
● Familiarity with payer rules, electronic claims and remittance workflows, and healthcare data exchange.
● Experience modernizing legacy applications or introducing automation into high-volume operational processes.
● Comfort using data and workflow analytics to identify root causes and evaluate product improvements.

What Success Looks Like

This Product Manager will create a clear, evidence-based roadmap and help teams deliver improvements that reduce manual effort, prevent avoidable denials, accelerate reimbursement, and give providers better visibility into revenue cycle performance.
